Chamber Initiatives
The Fall
River Area Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1911 with one
simple objective:
The Chamber serves in
the interests of local businesses.
Almost one hundred years later, that objective still drives
everything we do at the Chamber of Commerce. It is also
stated within our mission, provided below:
The mission of the Fall River Area Chamber of Commerce
and Industry is to be the primary business and community
information source for its members and the public; to
provide networking opportunities for its members; and serve
as an advocate, on behalf of its members, at the local,
state and federal government levels.
Your Chamber is Working to Create a Better Future
The Chamber is the collective voice of local business. We
make our community an even better place by helping
businesses succeed.
Alignment of multiple stakeholders around common economic
issues and interests creates greater momentum and return on
investment. The Chamber identifies such alignments and works
to leverage them into mutually beneficial results. The
Chamber then serves as a facilitator and leader, helping
build clear pathways to action, realize opportunities, solve
problems and address emerging economic issues within our
region in a collaborative way.
Recent initiatives enacted by the Chamber’s Board of
Directors are listed below. Armed with a clear vision the
Chamber’s membership is poised for an exciting and
successful future in business in and around the greater Fall
River area.
