The history and success of “SMILES” with Founder/Director, Mr. James Mathes, and Citizens~Union Savings Bank President & CEO, Mr. Nick Christ. Citizens~Union is sponsoring the upcoming “SMILES in the SKY” autumn mixer at The Sky Lounge 10-22-09.

The second half: Salvation Army celebrates 125 years of service in our community. Dinner/Concert Benefit at the Eagle on Friday, October 23rd.

September 30 Program:
“The Charlton College of Business” &
“Southcoast Electric Power Group”

Princeton reviews Charlton College as “one of the best business schools in the country”.

Discussing the mission with Charlton Dean Susan West Engelkemeyer, and Board Chair, Mr. Fernando Garcia.  Second Half: Southcoast Electric Power Group rolling out a new Chamber collaborative offering more members significant energy savings.

Week 16: Reflection on the purpose, mission, and accomplishments of the “VOB” with program sponsor, Fall River Ford Owner, Mr. Fernando Garcia. Joining “Our Friend in the Business” in the conversation, Frank Cabral, SER Jobs for Progress Executive, and Jason Rua, President of RDA Insurance. Also on-board were Sky Lounge Entrepreneurs, Scott Fortuna & Josh Medeiros hosts of the Chamber’s Fall Speed Networking Event, speaking to the success of the city’s restaurant row.

OCTOBER 21 PROGRAM:
“Live from the 2009 SouthCoast Business Expo
and White’s of Westport"
 

Thanks to the technical assistance of WSAR Program Chief, Happy Hec Gauthier and show producers, Patrick Stone and Dennis Silva, the “Voice of Business” had a successful remote broadcast from the WSAR booth on the Expo floor.

“The Mayoral Debate”; Candidates present were Will Flanagan and Cathy Ann Viveriors.
