The qualified candidate will work with consumers of all ages to assess eligibility for the MassHealth Personal Care Attendant (PCA) program, will evaluate elders’ needs for community-based services, and will complete screenings to determine eligibility for MassHealth funded services, including nursing facility placement.  Responsibilities include conducting in-home assessments and developing care plans.  No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call.  Requirements include valid Massachusetts RN license and Bachelor’s degree in nursing or human services and at least three years of clinical experience, one of which must have been in a community setting; or Associate’s degree in nursing plus two additional years of community based nursing experience or long term care direct service experience.  Reliable transportation required.  35 hour work week with flexible scheduling options following introductory period. Position: Director - Renewable Energy and Green Jobs e04062012
The  Director will manage, oversee and coordinate the development, promotion, implementation and growth of all Renewable Energy and Green Job projects (REGJP) for the BCC Center for Workforce and Community Education (The Center); including grants, credit, non-credit projects, company programs, workshops, corporate partnerships, and new opportunities in REGJP.  Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of REGJP, and will be the primary liaison to the partners. Organize the necessary support systems that will assure the programs’ success. The primary responsibility will be to manage credit and non-credit grant projects and bring more projects to grow and sustain the Green Center.  Oversee all BCC components of the REGJP including project outcomes, coordination with partner organizations, reports, and monitoring of the education and training elements. Work cooperatively with the Deans and faculty of appropriate academic divisions, instructional designers, distance education experts, partners, students, and other academic administrators to accomplish curriculum design goals for both credit and non-credit projects.
