Discount Programs

As simple as the concept is, it works. When possible, we must support small, locally owned businesses. Money spent with locally owned small businesses is reinvested in the community to a much greater degree because businesses employ local people who take their paychecks and reintroduce that same dollar at local restaurants, retail shops, grocery stores and wherever else money is spent. Generally speaking, 45 to 65 cents of every dollar spent in a locally owned business stays in the area. For every $1 spent the value to the overall community ranges from $5 to $14. That return on investment can provide a tremendous shot in the arm. Two Chamber programs have been established to promote shopping locally all year long. They are the Member to Member Discount Program and the Buy Southcoast Discount Program.


Member-To-Member Discount
 The Member-To-Member Discount program encourages Chamber members and their employees to prefer other Chamber Members when making buying decisions.  The card entitles the bearer to many valuable discounts at participating member businesses.  The program is a great way to attract customers, build relationships with customers, save money and strengthen the local economy. There is no additional charge for participation in the program.

Buy SouthCoast Discount

Buy SouthCoast is tailored for area consumers. Chamber Members can offer a special discount for any customer who purchases a Buy SouthCoast Card. The Buy SouthCoast cards can be purchased for $20 at the Fall River Area Chamber of Commerce, located at 200 Pocasset Street, Fall River, MA
