A Message from the CEO

Welcome! This year marks the 101^st anniversary of the Fall River Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Chamber is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving as the preeminent voice of business in the greater Fall River area since 1911. By representing the interests of its diverse membership, as well as stimulating and promoting new and existing business activities, the Fall River Area Chamber of Commerce is one of the larger regional business organizations in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Our membership represents all sectors of the economy from education and high tech to healthcare, tourism and hospitality, manufacturing, service and small business. Members include publicly traded companies, privately owned manufacturers, entrepreneurs, sole proprietors, not-for-profits and professional firms, as well as banks, credit unions and insurance organizations. The diversity of the membership is reflected on the Chamber's board of directors, who help us stay on top of a wide variety of issues of concern throughout the business community and the larger Bristol County region.

Since its inception, the Chamber has been actively connecting local business leaders to assist with governmental and community development initiatives. We also inform the membership and provide a forum for connecting businesses to address the ever-changing needs of the local business community. Our core members enjoy regular networking events, workforce training opportunities, direct access to business information, a strong member-to-member discount program, effective and powerful advocacy along with an opportunity to “make good things happen” through membership in the Chamber.

Whether you are drawn to our region as a business owner, employee, tourist, future resident, or as an investor, the Chamber of Commerce is committed to providing you with exceptional professional service and programs in the same tradition that this Chamber has delivered for the membership during the past 101 years.
